    The official tourist information office's in Rome are called PIT (Punti Informativi Turistici). The PIT's are located through the city centre and airports. Their multilingual staff provide free maps, give tourist information and sell metro/bus/boat tickets, the Roma pass and make reservations. The tourist booth's are open 365 days/year.
