    Spanish Steps

The Spanish Steps is a monumental stairway that consists of 137 steps over several different flights.
It connects the double-belltowered church Trinita dei Monti above, with the Piazza di Spagna (= Spanish square) below.

On the square is a little fountain, Fontana della Barcaccia, with the shape of a small boat.

Behind church Trinita dei Monti (left picture) is Villa Borghese, a popular park with the famous 'Galleria Borghese'. Less then 100 metres from the church is metro station 'Spagna'.

    Via Condotti
On the picture on the right is a street starting at Piazza di Spagna: this is Via Condotti.
In Via Condotti you will find exclusive shops such as Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Gucci, Cartier and Bulgari.
